I like Guin as a nn, pronounced like the start of the name, so gwyn.

Of course you can use Gwen, you don't have to follow just how the name is spelled (another example, I would use Kate as a nickname for Catherine...Cate looks contrived). Other ideas:

I love the nn Gwen! In fact, it's been one of my favorite names since I was about 8 years old. There's nothing wrong with spelling it Guinevere nn Gwen, IMO. Also, you could use the name Guinn prn GWIN. Nev and Nevie are cute, too.

I love the name Guinevere. I know one who goes by Guen.

I've heard Jenny used because of Guinevere's closeness to Jennifer. Genny or Ginny would work as would Eve / Evie. Gwen would definitely work and you wouldn't have to use the Gwenevere spelling at all!

I definetely think you can use Gwen. It's really lovely. Also Gwin (you could spell it Guin if you wanted) or Neve. Or Neva. Winnie, Winn, Gwinnie...

I could also see Gwen as a nn even if you kept the Guinevere spelling (which I recommend).
