I don't see the point of that a. It doesn't change the way the name sounds at all, if you pronounce Erin like air-in. It just seems unnecessary.That being said, I like Erin a lot, especially as a mn. I have a good friend named Melinda Erin.

I've never thought about Erin as a mn before. It does flow nicely. I'll have to keep that in mind. Thanks!
