Well, Fabiole is not in the database here, so I did not know that was an option.
I know
Fabiola
is a diminutive form of
Fabia
.
Fabienne
is the French feminine form of
Fabian
, so it is still related to
Fabiola
. That sounds perfectly logical to me.

Being related, derived from a common root or name (
Fabius
, in that case) is not the same as to be derived of a certain form, yet offspring of
Fabius
.
