[Opinions] Roderick
1. WDYT of Roderick [M]? Reason in using it: I want to use it because ihas to do with my surname and from one of my favorite short stories from Edgar Allan Poe.2. Any first names for Roderick [is being used as the MN] as lately I am bad at combos?ETA: I asked about this a long time ago but at the time Roderick was a first name I decided to use it as a middle name instead.I like word/nature/place/old-fashioned/unisex type of names.

I like Roderick. One of my friends' names is Roderick. His name is Roderick LaRon. He went by LaRon in high school. Now, I think you can call him anything. Some ideas:

Roderick Cloud
Roderick Caleb (see meaning of Caleb)
Roderick Wolf
Roderick Griffin

I adore Roderick - and know a lovely one – who goes by his full name (he’s simply not a Roddie :). Lucas Roderick springs to mind as an option - although it's not as adventurous as your usual tastes. I also (sort of) remember that you like Hawaiian names? Kai Roderick would be a great name (I think :)

I am also horrible at combos it seems, but I just wanted to say that I love Roderick. The only reason its not on my list is because it is a little popular and I prefer names rarely seen but heard of (Ambrose for example, but it seems to be on a slow rise, at least on the board)

I'm not too fond of it as a first name, but I think it would make a nice middle name.

I like it, it is a handsome MN. I don't like "Rod" but as a MN it works very well.I want to stick it with an L name. I feel like L names go best with long and handsome R names. Leo Roderick? Leopold Roderick? Linus Roderick?no idea.
