[Opinions] Luciana
How would you pronounce it?
I tend towards Loo-She-Ah-Nuh But I would probably use Lucy / Luci as a nickname, is that weird?

Either loo-see-AH-nah or loo-CHA-nah, depending on the language.
loo-see-AHN-uh
I knew about a bajillion Lucianas when I was living in Brasil. It's way, way too common for my taste, though it is pretty :P
But I guess in Canada and the States it's not super popular.
ETA that before 2005, I pronounced it lucy-ANA, "ana" being very nasally.

Funny. I was just thinking that I should suggest Lucienne and Lucine more. ("loo-see-EN")("loo-SEEN")
I have no idea what the correct pronunciaiton of Luciana is. I would tend to say, "loo-see-AH-nuh." It reminds me a bit of the Lusitania, but it's not that overwhelming in my head that i couldn't separate them out.
Your pronunciaiton with the nn Lucy makes perfect sense to me. Nns are the place to let whimsy run wild. Your variation doesn't even register on the "how did they get that nn from that formal name?" register.

In Italian it's pronounced Loo-cha-nuh, that would be the only legit pronounciation. I don't know if you pronounce it otherwise in other languages. It's a nice enough name. Lucy is cute as nn.
I say loo-see-AHN-uh, or loo-chi-AHN-uh.
It's a very pretty name that I have always liked, though too frilly for my lists.
