[Opinions] Re: Nicknames for Octavia? (and a few others?)
Oct- names RULE! :-PTave - Although it's now my dear Octavius' nickname, I think it would be great for Octavia. :-)
Tavy / Tavie - I like Tavy.
Davy / Davie - Well, Dave got bad reviews on Octavius, so I don't know if it would work.
Cate - That is brilliant! But I still like Tave.
Kit - Meh...I have to get to class soon, so I'll just list the ones I like out of the rest. Maybe later I'll come back and finish. (Sorry!)Teevie - a natural nickname for Tavy, after saying it a few times.
Vivi
Vita (I'd like Vida [VY-dah] better)
OttaHow about Tavia?

I'm glad you approve of Cate! It doesn't seem the stretch to me that it does other people, it's just switching the A sound with the T sound...I was thinking Tavy might be a bit more feminine against Tave.Vida would be a REALLY neat nickname! for something with a long I in it. Not sure it works for O though.I don't really like Tavia, it is too pretty and sweet. I can see Tavia charting on its own. Plus it sounds a bit medical and feminine. Thanks though!

Thought of another oneIt looks horrible written (hence the reason I haven't written it yet), but if you say it (AH-kah), it might work. It's got some spunk, don't you think? It would be *takes deep breath and then whispers* Oca/Aca/Aka. Actually, Akka is the Inuit word for Uncle, and I have no idea why it popped into my head. I like that spelling more than the others, which, as you might have guessed, I don't like. At all.

Haha. It does sound kind of neat. Occa? Ocka? LOL
Occy occured to me, kind of similar. LOL It looks really bad written. It would be cute occasionally though. Really cute actually!Hm hm hm!
Thanks!
