[Opinions] Hank?
What do you think. either stand alone or as a nn for Henry?
I've only ever met one, but he made the name grow on me.

I find that it sounds dated on a child of today. It sounds like a grandpa named Henry. Grandpa Hank. Fits well.

I love the name Hank. I honestly want to name a dog it.

I love Hank. It is a man's man's name. Most people would probabaly recommend using it as a nn for Henry. I'm not sure. I really prefer Hank more than Henry, but Hank does seem like it might be insubstantial on its own.

I don't like it at all. It makes me think of either a hick or an unintelligent person. I like just Henry, or Harry as a nn for Henry.

Author John Green's little brother is called Hank. I believe his birth name was William though. I love the name Hank because of Hank Green! He's an awesome person.I don't think I would use it for a regular name though. It would just seem a bit informal in the business scene. Hank is a good nickname for either Henry or William....

i don't like it at all. especially because it rhymes with 'wank'.
i associate the name with a male prostitute or something..

That's odd. I'd expect "it reminds me of a redneck" or something like that. but can't say I've ever heard that one. even though, yes it is true it does rhyme with wank.
