The way Princess Eugenie says it has grown on me. At first I thought it sounded wrong. But yoo-ZHAY-nee or yoo-JAYN-ee would be my favourite.

I adore Eugenie and pronounce it the French way and really dislike it said differently. That being said, YOO-jen-ee is better that yoo-JEEN-ee, imo.

I prefer the French pronuniation that is listed here. I actually like the Greek pronunciation of Eugenia the best of all of them, but I don't mind the others especially because it's a family name.

I pronounce Eugenie as yoo-jee-nee and Eugenia as yoo-jee-nee-uh.

I've also heard it pronounced 'yoo-JEN-ee'. I don't if that's a legitimate pronunciation or not, but I rather like it.

I pronounce it mostly like the French pronunciation, though I add a little more "Jane" sound in there.. something like yoo-ZHAYN-ee..

I say either, "yoo-ZHAY-nee" or "yoo-ZHEN-ee." I'm in the U.S., by the way. I adore Eugenie.

I've always heard it pronounced yoo-JEE-nee / yoo-JEEN-ee so I think that's how I would pronounce it.
