[Opinions] wdyto Marnie?
My aunt and uncle have decided that they're going to name their next daughter Marnie. They can't think of a middle name though. So what do you think would make a good middle name, and do you like Marnie at all in the first place?
Timothy Paul and Shelly
and their daughters Mackenzie Rae, Rylee Roma and Marnie ?

love it
Funny this should be mentioned, because I visited a school today where I might potentially work next year, and there was a Year 8 student carrying around a load of helium balloons her friends had given her, saying "happy 12th birthday Marnie". It's not a name I have ever seen used in real life before, but I do quite like it.
Mn suggestions:
Marnie Roxanne
Marnie Liana
Marnie Susannah
Marnie Francesca
Marnie Louisa
Marnie Teresa
Marnie Corrina

I don't like Marnie, simply because the association with the Hitchcock movie is too strong for me (I saw it at a young age). In addition, it sounds more like a nickname, rather than a full name. So, in that sense, it's not really my style. However, it does fit with their sibset, so to each their own!
Edited to add: What about using it as a nickname for Marlene/Marlena?
As for middle names, how about:
Marnie Grace
Marnie Elizabeth
Marnie Shannon
Marnie Jane
Marnie Josette
Marnie Bridget
Marnie London
Marnie Dionne
Marnie Alice
Marnie Kendall
Marnie Renee
Marnie Faye
Marnie June
Marnie Hollis
Marnie Rowan
Marnie Lauren
See any you like? I used Nymbler to help with the combos so they might want to use that.

I don't like Marrie. I prefer Marie.
I love Marnie
I was actually just thinking about it as a name the other day after I watched the old Hitchcock movie (titled Marnie) It doesnt seem to lend itself to a lot of middle names though. I think Marnie Elizabeth sounds quite nice.

i might like it if it was a nn for something.
A friend of mine has a sister named Marnie. My friend told me that her mother named her sister that because her (the mother's) name is Marguerite, and her husband's name was Ernie, and Marnie was combining the first syllable of her name with the last syllable of her husband's.
I think Marnie is rather cute, but it sounds nicknamey. I'm not saying it is a nickname, just that it sounds that way. I'm no good at coming up with middle names, sorry.
