[Opinions] Boaz
WDYT of Boaz? I saw a couple who had a baby boy and named him Boaz on Bringing Home Baby about a week ago, and it's been on my mine ever since. I'd never really considered it before, but I really like it. It's strange, I love the sound of the name but I get an off-putting mental image when I think of someone named Boaz. I think that could get shaken off though. Anywho, Boaz? Valentine Boaz? Any mn or fn suggestions? Thanks :-)

I also think it's a great name, I like it a lot. It fits into that "Slightly off-beat and unusual Biblical" category that I seem to love so much! Not a fan of Valentine though. What about:Boaz Henry, Boaz George, Boaz William, Boaz Finley, Boaz NathanielElijah Boaz, Gideon Boaz, Oliver Boaz, Charlie Boaz, Maximilian Boaz

No combo suggestions, but I saw them on Bringing Home Baby too and I loved it since then also! It's nice, short & a little edgy. I can't decide what a Boaz would "be" like.

Ha! Someone toldme Elimelech was weird like Boaz! Honestly, I think Boaz is cute for a little boy!! It's cute, Boaz.
I like it!!!!
I am still unsettled for a middle name for Noah. Moshe and the girls are set, believe it or not. Noah is not.
Go for it, it's way cute!!

Do I love Boaz? I think the answer to that it pretty obvious: YES!Not surprisingly my fav combo with it is Boaz Marino Constantine, which is the combo I might use in the future. I think Boaz Valentine would be nice in that order. Other combos:
Boaz Ariston
Boaz Andreas
Boaz Gabriel
Boaz Joachim
Boaz Malachi
Boaz Octavian
Boaz Radovan
Boaz Ramsay
Boaz Thorsten

I immediately thought of you...when I saw this post, because I know you love the name. :)It's not something I'd personally use, but I'd be thrilled to ever meet a little Boaz.

I like Boaz. But then, I like ugly names. I rather like Valentine Boaz, I find Valentine's got the pizazz and Boaz has the heaviness.
He is hard to find middles for, he seems to fit better in the middle for me but I'll try:Boaz David
Boaz Thomas
Boaz Frederick
Boaz Stephen
Boaz Christopher
Boaz Henry
Boaz Sebastian
Boaz James
Boaz Edward

Wow, that was tougher than I thought!

Hmm, have to say its a bit too odd for my tastes. It just sounds like a character from a fantasy novel...most likely some sort of plotting sorcerer or his lumbering assistant.

I've always thought that Boaz is one of the most unattractive Biblical names there is. More useable than many in the sense that it's fairly short and easy to say. But still, very ugly.

Boaz Christopher
