[Opinions] Eh.
I've known several Anthonys over the years, all different types. It's a very solid name to me, with a slight "working-class" feel to it. However, as I've said, I've known so many different types of people with the name - a construction worker, my boyfriend's brother who is very "boy-band" material to professors. It just seems to suit everyone type of person. In otherwords: Safe.

I'm so tired. I'm reading your post and trying to figure out why professors would consider this guy "boy-band" material. I got it now. D'oh.

Agree with this.It is a safe name to me. Kind of like Michael, John, Joseph, Samuel, Daniel, William and Thomas. Used so widely that it is a completely safe and foolproof option, but a tad boring for most name enthusiasts.
