YesMy cousin has an almost two year old son named Coen. I thought it was a little odd at first, but it fits him. To tell you the truth, like it spelled better with a C instead of a K. And his middle nm is Andrew, if that helps. Never thought it flowed quite right. And, funny enough, there was a gal that I became friends with who also had a son named Coen. I had never heard it before these two. Have no clue what his middle name is, though.

I've heard Koen a lot recently, mostly on this board but also in baby announcements and on TV. I like the look of it, but actually had no idea of it's origin until I just looked at it! So it's supposed to be pronounced like koon and not koh-en (like Cohen). I guess I like the look of it but I'm not sure I would be inclined to use it or suggest it to anyone. It has a fresh look but I don't particularly like the way it's pronounced. It may grown on me. Can't think of any MN suggestions.

Reminds me of Roy Cohn. Not such a good association.

I would read it as KO-EN, not KOON for starters, so there may be issues there. It's a neat name though.I don't know anyone with the name. It's quite short, so maybe a long mn?Koen Alexander

I don't like the sound of it, and it looks like a misspelling of Cohen.
