[Opinions] Reginald
There was a boy at work today named Reginald nn Reggie. He was about six or seven. I'm not really a fan of Reginald, but I thought it was nice to see an uncommon name on such a young boy. WDYT?

I love it, it's so powerful but easy to nickname.

That is odd to hear it on a child. I do like it but it is dated.

Hopelessly dated.I really am disgusted by this. It's like naming a child Beulah, Ishmael, or Prudence. If you want something uncommon, try to make it a little less stuffy. For instance, Harry, Oliver, Sebastian, Liam, or Rupert would have been great. Unusual, yet still somewhat up-to-date.

I like it, especially nn Reggie. My first association is Reginald Johnson, the tudor of Pu-Yi, the last emperor of China. That's a good association, by the way. He was a great man and really helped Pu-Yi through his tougher years. Plus, I think the name is adorable!

Oh, Reginald? I disagree!I hope somebody gets that, or else you all will think I'm insane.I've never liked Reginald on a real person. It's too stuffy and stereotypical-British-guy. But it's a good character name.

I hear it as Stewie in Family Guy's voice!...

It will always make me think of the arrogant Reggie in the Archie comics.

Love it. Reggie is a cute nn, but my favorite nn for Reginald is Rex.
