I am called Coco as a nickname for colleen, and i prefer that to other ones, so its a good one :P

As a nickname I like it, as long as it's not the full first name.

I like Coco either as a name for some pet bird or as a nickname.
I love Lillian's suggestion Socorro.
Colette "Coco" would be also very nice. Conall, Cormac, Confucius (lol), Connell, Coriander, Constance, Conway, Cora, and Cornelia are all names that would work well with Coco as nickname.

I think it's cute as a nickname. Most people will first associate it with Chanel, and perhaps Courtney Cox's daughter. While I wouldn't like it as a first name, I do like it as a nickname a lot. It's got a fun sound to it.

It worked for Chanel.

It's totally ridiculous, in spite of Coco Chanel, whose really name was Gabrielle anyway. I guess it's bearable as a nickname, but certainly not as a full name.

I hate it. And esp. as a full fn, btw.
