[Games] Picture Congrats sign ups
I know some people think that these games hsouldn't be played anymore and if it becomes a actual BtN rule, I'll stop the game, but as on now it is still going on for the people who do want to play. This will just be a regular Picture CAF game. There may not be photo contests every round, but I will have some. Ages are up to ypu and you will be keeping track of them. This round, names are up to you and post a picture of your couple at their wedding and their house. Username:

?!Despite the fact that I respect that you don't like these picture games at all, I think it's not your place to ask for them to stop. Some people DO enjoy them. And this is a games board for everyone, not just you. As long as it doesn't become against the rule of the games board/BtN site to host picture games, people are free to play what they want. Some people did want to play, because there were sign-ups already. I think it's unfair to them that now this has stopped, because this game isn't to your liking (yes, I do realise more people don't like them).

my main objection is that the contests have nothing to do with namesand therefore do not belong on a "name games" board.the whole "this is creepy and is probably illegal" aspect is secondary, as is the "they take up miles of board space with things that have absolutely nothing to do with names" aspect.I don't object to games that I just find disinteresting.Just I don't think this one should be played here.but whatever I am not going to be on for a while anyway.

It's not because she "doesn't like them"It's because you are using OTHER PEOPLE'S ARTWORK, WITHOUT PAYING for it, for your own entertainment. Yeah, there's no rule against it, but it seems really wrong.

When you post images on the internet, it's with the understanding that others may use for personal entertainment and enjoyment. It comes with making them public. It's like making a copy of a VHS tape or CD - totally okay for personal entertainment. You're not allowed to profit from it, which is slightly different. Also, there's plenty of stock archives that have free images or images in the public domain - the rules can always be altered to only using images from the free stock archives if that's the one problem point.

I agreeUnless it is against the SITE rules, I don't think they should be stopped. If a majority of posters objected to the game, the rules could be amended, OR, the games wouldn't get any posts because people were not interested.I think the volume of posts speaks to the popularity of the games. I don't think they should be stopped just because a vocal minority thinks they should be.People are free to play what they want. I think picture games should stay. Don't like? Scroll by and don't play.

I agree to this. I mean I know I stopped it but I thought it was because it had become like an actual rule. But if its being stopped just because people don't like them. Then I feel I should ge t to continue this game, for me and for the others who wanted to play.

I never play these games and have absolutely no interest in them, but I have absolutely no objection to you playing whatever you like as long as it somehow involves names and isn't against the rules or insulting or anything. Please carry on, as there really is no reason for you to stop - If I were one of your players I would have been heartbroken that it was cancelled!

Continue it, Michal. I like, several other people like it, so why succumb for other peoples' opinons. Note though, I will be leaving in a week and a half so I can only play till then! But will be fun while it lasts!

You should.I mean, I never play the things but I don't like the fact that just because a certain amount of people don't like them, you are stopping yours. Tough luck to those who have a problem with it. I totally agree with what Mar says. Go ahead and start one, and then we can see how many people still have an interest.
