Isobel and Riordan met in a Parisian cafe a year ago. Isobel, although American, was an editor at Vogue in Paris. Riordan was studying for a semester in Paris while training to get his medical degree. They began dating. After Riordan's semester was over, Isobel transferred to the American publication of Vogue and they moved back to the US together. Their wedding was a backyard wedding - in the backyard of Isobel's parent's mansion. Isobel wore a Chanel dress with family heirloom jewelry dating back to the eighteenth century. Now, the couple live in a small but wealthy town on the east coast.
