Joaquin (Kelly Ripa's son) - could aslo be for Phoenix
Jett (John Travolta's son or from the Disney TV show "The Famous Jett Jackson") - could also be for Lee
Atticus (mn of John Edwards's son) - could also be for the clothing line or the book character. I'm thinking more the clothing line.
Ava (many celebrities' children) - Ugh.
Nevaeh (that guy from P.O.D.'s daughter) - double, tripple and quadruple ugh.
Angelina (Jolie) - see above.
Elle (from "Legally Blonde") - Could also be for McPherson
Finley (Angie Harmon's daughter) - No, what?? People are using this on girls? *Is sad*
I like
Jude (Law) - like it as a mn
(Seth) Cohen - starting to like it
Mekhi - Ok, I really like this :)
Heath (Ledger) - it's nice, but I wouldn't use it.
Layla (El, a wrestler) - Don't mind. Could also be after the song.
Giselle (Bundchen) - Her name is actually pronounced zhee-ZEL-ee, which I think is prettier than ji-ZEL
Ariel – Love on a boy...
Lola - Don't mind as a nn. For what, I don't know.
Anahi (from "Rebelde") - Love the name, and must admit to a GP for the show :P
Evangeline (from "Lost") - Love the name, not the character.
Lorelei (from "Gilmore Girls") - Like it.
Ireland (Alec Baldwin's daughter) - Like it. And the poor girl...
Charlize (Theron) - Not bad.

Good points about Joaquin Phoenix and the Atticus clothing line. I definitely think that Atticus Finch is one of the reasons (probably the main reason) that people use the name Atticus, but you can't associate the publication of the book with the spike in the name. Same thing for Elle Macpherson and "Layla" the song--those first appearances may be strongly associated with the names, but the names spiked on other occasions.
