How is it pronounced? Like Ear or Ire or Air?
It looks too similar to ear to me...

I do not care for it. It's way too close to the word "ire" and at first, I thought your post was titled "Er...", like you were confused or something.

It's actually my cousin's-in-law name

She pronounces it AIR, though. :-D

I love it - are you sure it's pronounced IRE, though? I wouldn't use it as a first name, though.

And before you ask...she's Elysia Eir. She does not like her name. At all.
