I like the way the name sounds and looks, plus its meaning. But honestly I never thought about it before today. I've liked similar names, like Mohan and Roshan. In fact I REALLY liked Roshan... Anyway unfortunately Rohan seems to be one of those names that can quickly become used as a feminine name.

I like the name Rohan. I know one, he has a sister named Paula.

I like it. It does remind me of Lord of the Rings but that's not a negative association by any means. It's definitely not like Gandalf or Frodo.

Its a name I really like (even with the LOTR connection...maybe because of it). However, I would pronounce it Ro-Han, which is the Indian way (I live in an area with a bit of them). I think that Rohan and Rowan are both wonderful names though.

I don't mind it, but prefer Rowan.:)

I've loved it for yearsAnd it's not just because of the Lord of the Rings association (though it does help). It's the fact that Rohan, like Rowan, is this gorgeous mahogany brown/burgundy combination. It's just so woody and handsome and... oh my goodness I am in love! I don't even know how to describe it. All I know is that I love it so much. Thumbs up as high as they can go!

Great! So you don't think it's unusable because of Lord of the Rings?
