[Opinions] Sable?
At work earlier today, I was on break and flipping through one of the music magazines. There was an article about a particlar artist and he mentioned his gf's name: Sable. I've never really heard of it used as a name before and was interested to see what you thought of it. Any middle names come to mind? Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't call a child Sable, which is French Sand...

It's really weird. Isn't it a kind of fur (and animal), and an old-fashioned word for "black"? It also means "sand" in French.

oooh. I like Sable. I don't think I've ever heard it as a name before. I had a great aunt Mabel but Sable is prettier.

I like it. I am impartial to it because my ex bf had a dog named Sable. But I still like it.

Sable is a very pretty name, and a nice alternative for those who like the sound of Mabel, but who don't like that everybody is always calling it a grandmother name.Sable Marissa
