[Opinions] WDYTO Season?
I was just looking at the wedding announcements in my local newspaper and noticed a bride named Season. It reminded me that there was an actress quite a few years back named Season Hubley. We all know Summer, Winter, Spring, and Autumn as names, but what do you think of going a little broader and naming a girl Season?

It's a GP for me.

Definitely not. Too many people are stretching for noun-names, such as Gwenyth Paltrow's daughter Apple.

It's not really my style, but it does fit in the style of names I consider GPs. I like it, although I think I'd only like it on a girl - it has a more feminine quality to it in my head.

I love it, but I am afraid it might be too out there. It could definitely be a middle name, though.

Season has a nice enough sound, but I don't think it has the charm of the other name with the association of sunshine, snow, new life, and changing of the leaves. It feels too vague to me. Also, where I come from Season is most commonly used as a verb and so it might make people think of seasoned french fries.

I like it a lot [m]I think since the Seasons can be used why not that? I wouldn't use it, but it's pretty. I wish people would be more open to word names, and out there names that's what makes naming exciting IMO.

I've only know Summer and Autumn as names all of my life. Just recently have I heard of someone naming their kid Winter. I don't know anyone or of anyone named Spring. As far as using Season as a name, I'm not thrilled with it, but I can see how others might think it is feasible due to the similarity to Susan.

I know a sibset that is...Summer, Sunshine, and Season.Three girls. And no I am not making it up.I think it is okay, nothing I would ever use but not horrid.Sunshine on the other hand...yikes.
