More like VYE-o-lah, with the emphasis on the first syllable. It's how my great-grandmother pronounced her name, and I had an English prof. who pronounced the Shakespeare character the same.

I think you might get different pronunciations the first time someone says it out loud, but once they hear the correct pronunciation, they'll catch on. I think you'll probably get a split between VIE-oh-lah and Vye-OH-lah (I always envision this pronunciation as a drawling, sort of Southern accent).
