Help[Opinions] Sophronia
Yesterday, our local paper featured pictures of recent high school graduates. I didn't really pay attention to the male names (I rarely do), however, the female names didn't inspire me at all. After endless Ashleys, Megans (and Meagans), Jessicas, Amandas and even a Raven Symone (I suppose her parents were Cosby Show fans), the lone beacon shining brightly was Sophronia! Her mn wasn't included but I was impressed anyway.
Overall, I think I prefer the sound of Sophia better but Sophronia is infinitely more interesting. WDYT?

I wish I could like it more
It's got what is possibly my favorite meaning of any name.
Unfortunately I find myself unable to like any RONE sound.

I invented a slightly less offensive male variation, Sophron. Pronounced a lot like Saffron but with an O. I am thinking an O like Off but maybe like Sophie.

Well she was born before the wave of little Sophie's and Sophia, which to me are much more classic and timeless, albeit currently very popular nowadays. Sophronia is interesting to see but it's still just another Soph- name.
