I strongly prefer Minerva.

I love Athena. I think Elizabeth makes for a combo that is too TH heavy, though I love both names.

I adore Athena. My youngest dd named her Idog Athena and wants to name her dd that one day. We'll see.Athena Elizabeth is fine. Personally, I'd avoid the double 'th.'Combos:
Athena Charlotte
Athena Claire
Athena Charis
Athena Daphne
Athena Eleanor
Athena Francesca
Athena Gabrielle
Athena Joelle
Athena Margaret
Athena Penelope
Athena Rosalind (I've been loving Rosalind lately.)
Athena Rosemary
Athena Sophronia

I adore Athena! Love it to bits! I think it sounds kind of strange, an extremely Greek name paired with an extremely traditional English name like Elizabeth. It's not terrible, though, and it's probably just my name-nerdiness bringing that to attention. I think Athena Alzbeta would be really neat :)

I like it, though I'm not sure I'd use it. Athena Elizabeth is ok, but I find Elizabeth is a bit overused as a middle name.

I love this name but I am tired of Elizabeth as a middle name

It's ok, but I find Athena too obviously goddess, like Osiris or Zeus, so I can't take it very seriously. I think Athene works better.

I think it's a fabulous name. I have a personal bad association with the name, but it's still a great name nonetheless. Athena Elizabeth is great as well. My favorite Athena combo would be Athena Juliet.

I love the name Athena, although I do associate it with the Greek Goddess, so Elizabeth seems a strange combo to me.

I like it. It's a sweet name with a great namesake. Athena Elizabeth doesn't really flow, though, and seems to lack something. Maybe:Athena Walburga
Athena Virginia
Athena Thérèse
Athena Tomyris
Athena Joyce
Athena Olympia - This is so over the top! But I love how it sounds.
Athena Odilia
Athena Kathleen
Athena Judith
Athena Catherine / Athena Katherine

Very dramatic name, and very pretty. I think Athena Elizabeth is a great combo.

I kind of like Athena. Not something I'd ever want to use, but it's okay. Athena Elizabeth sounds awful together, terribly lispy. I don't usually like the th sound in names.

Dude... I love this name lol! It's been a favorite of mine for about 4 years. I've settled a bit closer to simply Athene, though, which I find a tad more usable. I really dislike Athena Elizabeth, though. It runs together tremendously... Athenuhlizabeth is what I get when I say it.Athena Bellatrix
Athena Bridget
Athena Ceridwen
Athena Damaris
Athena Genevieve
Athena Gwen (or any name with the prefix Gwen)
Athena Jane
Athena Juliet
Athena Katherine
Athena Kerensa
Athena Lilac
Athena Madeline
Athena Margaux
Athena Mollie
Athena Rivka
Athena Violet
Athena Vivian

I love Athena. - lovely soft sound
- exotic and unique (well at least outside of Greece)
- from Greek mythology. mythology names seem magical to me.
- the Greek goddess is a great namesake.I would not pair Athena with such a common and boring filler name like Elizabeth.perhaps...Athena Bernice
Athena Eleni
Athena Evangeline
Athena Helen
Athena Lenore
Athena Lórien

I do like the name. I know two girls by it--one in high school, one just about elementary school aged. I think it's nice.Athena Elizabeth is all right but lacks some pizazz to me. And I don't like the glottal stop that comes between the last A of Athena and the E of Elizabeth. No combo suggestions, simply because I haven't the faintest idea what kind of names you want with it. :)Array
