I've been loving the names Celeste and Pascal lately. What do you think of these names?

I think Celeste is gorgeous, it's one of my favourites, but I don't really like Pascal all that much.

I love both! They would make a great sibset.

Celeste sounds too much like molest for me to enjoy it. Pascal sounds good on a French dude, but not so much on an American (if that's where you are).

I love Celeste but Pascal is nms.

Celeste I've always really liked, it's so feminine and pretty. Pascal is alright, but not something I'd use.

I love the name Celeste, it's so beautiful and classic. Not overly fond of Pascal though. In Australia Pascals are a popolur brand of lollies so it sort of ruins it for me.

I like Celeste, more so as a mn though, I think it works very well.
Pascal I don't like, not one bit.

I know a girl named Celeste - she was born on the aniversary of Apollo 11 landing the first man on the moon, so her parents wanted to name her something to commemerate that; a name meaning "of the sky, heavenly" seemed appropriate. She's really nice so I have only good associations with the name, and I think it's pretty, as well."Pascal" makes me think of Blaise Pascal, and in that sense I much prefer "Blaise". It also sounds a bit like "pastel," so it gives me weird color associations...it's different, and it's not terribly bad, but I guess it's not really my style.

Celeste and Pascal would make a beautiful sibset! Though Celeste is nms, it is pretty and strong. Pascal is just so suave, love it.

Ooh. These both are on my list, but they're still growing on me. My boyfriend likes Celeste, so I really want to like it, but I think I prefer Celestine, Celesta / Celestia.
