Both are on my list and I would use them both.I pronounce them:
Adeline - AD-a-leen
Madeline - MAD-a-lynI would go for Adeline I think (prefer Adelina) because it less common. I prefer Madeleine to Madeline most of the time but I wouldn't take much convincing to use Madeline.

The smallest one was MAH-uh-lienI cannot separate this name from: "In an old house in Paris that was covered in vines, lived twelve little girls in two straight lines. They left the house at half past nine. The smallest one was Madeline."But it isn't a bad connection.

Madeline = MADT-eh-lineThe DT is like a very, very soft 'th'. It could almost be a 'd', but not quite. I'm weird. I know. :-P

Madeline, pronounced Mad-uh-lin. Adeline looks unfinished to me.

Madeline but with the spelling Madeleine.
I pronounce Madeline mad-uh-line and Adeline the same but without the M.

I undoubtedly prefer Adeline (ADD-uh-line) to Madeline (MAD-uh-line).

I definitely prefer Adeline 'ad-a-lien', but I prefer Adelina which I pronounce 'ada-lee-na'I used to like Madeline (I pronounce it 'Mad-uh-lin') but now it reminds me too much of Madeleine McCann, which is sad. I also personally dislike the nn Maddie.
