[Opinions] Re: Keir

I believe it to be a variant of the surname Kerr. However, I may be mistaken. It certainly seems like it could come from Keiran.
Conrad - I adore this name. It is strong and masculine yet gentle and very civilised at the same time. Plus, it has the advantage of being unusual and quirky - really lovely.
Auberon - a bit too pretentious IMO but it isn't terrible. There are far worse things you could name a child!
Inez - it seems like a carricature to me, if that makes any sense. I just don't really take to it and I couldn't imagine it on a real person.
Greta / Gretel - I much prefer Gretel. Probably because of the fairytale, it has a wonderful mystical feel and is really dreamy. I like it a lot whereas Greta seems old and dated to me.
Aled - you're right, the meaning is really cool. Other than that though, I'm not too keen on it. The only Aleds I've ever been aware of are middle-aged or elderly.
