[Opinions] Celia is a name in its own right
A name known from Shakespeare. I love both Celia and Cecilia, they are both beautiful classic names. And I would not use Celia as a nn for Cecilia. If I used a nn at all for Cecila, it would be Ceci or Lia.If I lived in USA/UK/Canada/Australia/NZ, I think I would use Celia. In Sweden Cecilia is more known, but I think I would use an old Swedish form then, Sissela. "You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."
"It does not become me to make myself smaller than I am." (Edith Södergran 1891-1923)
