I love Camille on a girl. I can't really imagine it on a boy, though I know that it has been used as a masculine name (mostly in the past, I believe). I like Camilla as well, but I prefer the sound of Camille. I think using Camile (or Camille/Camilla) to honor your grandfather would be nice. My mn is Georgette, after my grandfather, George. And I know a girl named Meredyth who was named after her grandfather (his name was also spelled Meredyth, btw).
