When Emily and Micah announced that they were adopting a little boy from Scotland, the whole family was excited about the new arrival. Tommy and Eddy, Emily's twins, are two years old now. They were very mystified by the arrival of their brother at first, since he was older than them, but they have quickly come to love Lachlan and Lachlan is quite fond of his little brothers. Emily is very busy taking care of three little boys, but she and Micah are very happy together.

Siran is in her junior year of college and she is busy studying in Norway for the semester. Siran plans to travel to Japan in the spring, then spend her final year in college at her original school in Ohio. Siran has also studied in Greece (which she absolutely loved!) and Canada. Siran is excited about her international business career and she hopes to be able to travel to other places around the globe once she gets a job.

Rachel is in her freshman year of college. She is attending a school with a strong swimming program and she is doing well there so far. Rachel is not only swimming in college, but she is also enrolled in the school's nursing program.

Izzy is a senior in high school. She has big dreams of going to the Olympics next year on the gymnastics team. Her coach says that she has all the skills and dedication needed to get to the Olympics, so Izzy is really hoping to go. Izzy has not yet decided if she wants to go to college because she is concentrating so much on her gymnastics.

Jonny is in eighth grade. He is a little awkward, but he and some friends started a garage band in which Jonny is the lead guitarist and back-up vocals. Jonny is very smart and enjoys science in school. He thinks he'd like to try biochemistry or genetic research in the future.

Elijah and Bobby are in fourth grade. They love just running around and playing with their nephews. Elijah has picked up a new hobby that he really enjoys--woodcarving. He tried to teach Bobby, but Bobby was more interested in reading about the history and logistics of wood carving than actually doing it.
