[Opinions] Celebrity baby
Not sure if this has been posted before, but I couldn't not post it.General Hospital's Ingo Rademacher, 37, is a new dad after his fiancée Ehiku gave birth to son Peanut Kai Rademacher on July 11th. This is just cruel, imo. Also, does anyone know how Ehiku is pronounced and where the name is from?

Plese God, let this be a joke or a false report. If it isn't, I hope the parents call him Kai. If they don't, I see a name change in this kid's future.

I read that the other day and I'm still equally disturbed by it now! What a stupid thing to name a person.

Oh no! Even as celeb names go, this is really apalling. I wish celebs stopped using naming their kid as some kind of publicity stunt.

Lets hope he is at least moderately well endowed.

Hey if you can name your kid Apple...

Ick to the baby name.Ehiku is the number seven in Hawaiian. It would be pronounced eh-hee-koo, but I am not sure where the stress should be.

*shrug*We had a calf named Peanut once... She died after falling in some mud, though. On a person, it gets four and a half thumbs-down. (the half a thumbs-up is because it's spelled right)

I saw that on CBB too, I can't even make sense of it. It's really bad. If they had to use Peanut, why not make it a mn? Did they even think about what the kid may have to go through with the name Peanut? All sorts of jokes come to mind. =/I really like Kai though.

I saw this on CBBI was thinking about posting it, I can't really imagine someone naming their kid Peanut and being serious. maybe they'll call him Kai?

tehehehehLOL! In Maori, 'Kai' means food, so 'Kai' to a lot of NZers is food. I didn't realise that Kai was actually his middle name when I first read this comment and read it as you saying, "well his name means food, maybe they could just call him 'Kai'", before I realised you probably don't have that meaning for Kai :P Peanut is bad, but Peanut Kai is even worse to me lol

LOL!I thought the exact same thing. Poor kiddy.

Will kids call him Pee or Nuts in school?Generally I like to dislodge the theory that all kids with weird names will get teased (my teasing was very minimal and totally bearable). But Peanut is bad. Think of all the horrible names he could get called.

Unfortunately, those are only a little worse than his actual name...

Where I live Peanuts have been banned from elementary schools :)

I heard about Peanut on some other site, and rolled my eyes in disgust. Its a cute nickname, but as his legal, birth certificate name? How is he going to grow up with that one? It will be awkward to be thirty years old and still be named Peanut. I feel sorry for that kid.

He could change it.

Wow! Peanut?! I used to know a guy whose nn was P-Nut, but as a given name that's just horrible. I didn't even like it when my cousin called me Peanut as a nn when I was little. Kai is great though, hopefully that's what they call him
