[Opinions] Harriet
I've always kind of liked Harriet, and recently it's grown on me more. I think it has a very sweet, old-fashioned feel. I would love to see it on a little girl. I think I like it best without a nickname, but if I were to use one, I'd use Hattie. What do you think of it? Which nickname do you like best for it: Hallie, Hattie, something else, or do you prefer it without one?I was trying to think of a good combo, and Harriet Augusta was the first one that came to mind. I like it. What do you think of it? Any better ideas?

Love Harriet; favourite combo is Harriet Ellen. I like it best w/o a nn.

I like Harriet a lot, and would probably nn either Hetty or Hattie. I know a couple of young Hatties, now I think about it. It works perfectly well without a nn too though.Harriet Augusta is a bit boring imo, but then I don't like Augusta.Harriet Ailsa
Harriet Elspeth
Harriet Emily
Harriet Felicity
Harriet Ingrid
Harriet Lucy
Harriet Lydia
Harriet Lyra
Harriet Maeve
Harriet Rosamund
Harriet SylviaIt works well as a mn to lots of things actually.

I like the NN Hattie, but not Harriet so much... I could imagine her being called Harry. Maybe Etta could be another NN.I like your combo - very pretty. Here are some other thoughts.Harriet Adele
Harriet Allegra
Harriet Elizabeth
Harriet Iris
Harriet Olivia
Harriet Ursula
Harriet Celeste
Harriet Delilah

I love the fact that you consider using an old fashioned refreshing name even though Im not particularly fond of Harriet. Personally I dont like a nn for it because I dont like nicknames and I think Hattie can stand as a name on its own. Harriet Augusta isnt bad but how about Harriet Josephine or Harriet Alice?

I wouldn't use it; I don't like it quite that much. But thanks. :) And Harriet Josephine is nice.

Its a little too old lady for my personal taste, but if you like it, that's all that really matters.
