Makes me think of Carla Bruni.
I happened to read a lot of newspapers at the time there was the fuss around her.
Oh well - after some thinking, I still don't really like it. It makes me think of Caramel or Carlotta, which is an awful name IMO. I'd normally prefer "k" instead of "c", but Karla does look self-made. It sounds very polished - you've nothing to catch in it. Many names have this problem - Caitlin, Claudia, Clara...
But, I wish I liked Carla - it is an independent and majestic name with a long history.
