[Opinions] Molly?
WDYT?A professor who has been working in my office this summer is named this, and hearing it more has made me interested in it. She's a bubbly person, too, and I think that may have colored my opinion of the name. I think it's pleasant. No idea what combo would work with it, though, and I don't know that it "feels" like my other names, though that is barely even worth being a concern. So thoughts on Molly and I'd super really extremely appreciate combo suggestions since my usual stuff (Charlotte et al.) doesn't feel quite right with Molly.

Molly is cute and spunky, and I like it just fine *as a nickname for Mary.* I hate to see it as a name in its own right, to me it's still a nickname. My purist attitude towards this is probably becoming annoying, but, oh well, it's my opinion.

It's actually a bit dated to me.I knew a ton of Mollies growing up and I've never quite liked the name. It's very close to the word "moll" to me as well. It's weird, it seems like a name I'd like. *shrugs* It doesn't help that all the Mollies I've known were spoilt brats with attitude problems. Maybe if I'd known a plesaant one I'd like it more.Ideas, though:
Molly Rose
Molly Clementine
Molly Eveyln
Molly Rosalyn
Molly Rae

I think it's pretty cuteBut that's basically all it does for me. Give it another decade maybe and I'll come around to it again.I named all of my dolls Molly when I was a kid. There was Molly Dolly and Miss Molly and and and. They were ALL Molly. And also, Molly was probably one of my favorite Sailor Moon characters. :P

I have a hard time with this name. I really like it (it's so cute! yet slightly bratty-sounding) despite having bad experiences with every Molly I've met. I'd never use it because I just don't see myself with a little Molly - it's more of a GP for me.

Molly is my name, except it's a nickname for Amalie. But that's the name I go by regularly. I really like it, but it recently got deleted from my PNL because I wouldn't name a child this. My middle name is Hope, and that's what I always put down on Congrats games: Molly Hope.

I don't like Molly - I think of Molly Malone and her cockles and mussels, old ladies, the verb "mollify", and it screams nn to me. If I had to choose it I'd go with the spelling Mollie.
