After adopting Natalie, Grace and James thought their family was complete with six children. So, needless to say, they were thoroughly surprised (but more than ecstatic) to find out they were expecting Baby Walter #7! Benjamin Lucas, who has been nicknamed Ben, was welcomed into the world by his older brothers and sisters, who have come to completely spoil him. Madeleine, as the youngest, was used to having been the baby for six years, and so, her parents were a little worried that she'd have a difficult time adjusting to the new baby. But nothing could be further from the truth! In fact, Lainey, as she is affectionately called by her siblings, has more than taken to her baby brother, and of all the children, is most eager to hold him and help out Mommy in any way she can. The bond that has been forged between she and Ben is completely obvious and so precious.
Ella and Nathan's family also grew by the addition of their daughter. Named for her mother, Isabella Amy, just celebrated her first birthday. Her name came about thanks to big brother, Isaac, who constantly referred to her as Ellie before she was born. Ella and Nathan had no idea where he had gotten the name, but it stuck, and beyond perfect was the fact that she was born one Ella's birthday. With her blonde hair and big blue eyes, Nathan took one look at her and sided with Isaac -- Ellie suited her completely. Ella wasn't as certain, wanting to give her daughter a more complete name, but Isaac was adamant. Nathan brought up the idea of giving her her mother's name, in honor of their shared birthdays, and despite Ella's slight hesitation, they found that it fit their daughter wonderfully. Isaac is truly the best big brother little Ellie could ask for, and she seems to already know it. He looks after her in every little way, and the two have such a sweet connection that shows just how much they really love each other.
