I like Alice, but what about Alis? Combo ideas? What do you think of the name?

I really don't like it it's not remotely attractive to me where as Alice is gorgeous I prefer just Alice instead of Alis I wouldn't connect it to Alice at all if I idn't just look it up.

I know a girl named Alys.

I really like Alice, but Alis looks incomplete to me. The balance of the name is off.

Alis Laurel is the only combo I really like out of your list. Alis Claire is okay, but it has too many of the same letters, and Claire seems fillery to me.

I prefer the spelling Alys...it seems far, far more traditional to me; I think I got this idea from reading about all of the characters named Alys in Chaucer.
