David's DW gave birth to a baby girl!
James got married!
Emily and Felix decided to wait a few years before they start workjing on their second child. They tried for 1½ year to get pregnant, but nothing happened so they decided to get some help. They knew that this would be a bigger chance for them to have twins, and they were fine with it. But they never even thought about the possibility that having more than triplets.
When Emily got pregnant she felt really bad. She didn't just have morning sickness, it was in the morning, during the day and even during the night. When she and Felix had an ultrasound the doctor could see nine beating hearts!
After talking a lot Felix and Emily decided not to under go selective reduction. They knew that one or more of their babies could die, but it was worth the risk. Emily was sen to bedrest at 20 weeks pregnant. When they did an ultrasound in week 26 the doctors could see that one of the babies, a girl, had died. The whole family was sad, but they didn't give up.
Three weeks later the babies were born. Their daughter Lyra came first. She already had a lot of black hair buit she was very small and couldn't breath on her own. Within a minute Samuel and Theo joined their sister. They were doing better and later that day Felix could see that little Samuel was a thumb sucker. Then there was Agnes. She maked her parents and the doctors worried immedietly. She didn't scream and she didn't breathe. However, the doctors didn't have time to tell Emily and Felix much, because there was still babies left to deliver.
Trenton was born one minute after Agnes. Felix could see him for a second before the next baby took his place, a girl, named Annie. There was two babies left, and the next baby to join his brothers and sisters was Julian. The last baby to be born was little Penny.
The babies were all very small but they are doing fine anyway. Agnes started to breath on her own five days later and much to her parents surprise she was the first one to come home, six weeks after the birth. Two days later Julian and Samuel came home to join their sister. The other babies were doing fine but they were still to small to come home but two weeks later only Trenton was left in the hospital. One day Sebastian and his father visited him and little Trenton smiled at them while Sebastian kissed his forehead. Next day Trenton came home. Sebastian is so proud of his siblings.
It's now two years since the octuplets were born. Felix and Emily have their hands full with eight two-yearolds and one six yearold.
James married Beck three months ago. They are happy together and can't wait to start their own family together.
David shocked his parents 1½ year ago. His parents had met his girlfriend Clara one time before, but that day David told them that she was pregnant and that they were going to keep the baby. The baby turned out to be a little girl and David named her while Clara was asleep after her C-suction. He named her Atheleisia Madeleine and when Clara woke up and found out she was furious. How on earth could he name her that? She wanted to rename her to Jessica but after a while she calmed down and actually started to like the name. However, it's only David who says Atheleisia, everyone else calls her Lei.
