Help[Opinions] Nalini
One of my best girl friends name was Nalini. Apparently it means lotus flower and is indian in origin (not Native American Indian, but Eastern Indian).

I like it. I've always had a soft spot for "-ini" names and Nalini sounds so soothing.

So I automatically see an evil snake out to do Lord Voldemort's bidding. I did know a girl named Malini, which I think is Indonesian. Her name was pronounced MAH-lin-ee. It's supposed to mean "gardener" or something. I never cared for it much.

Pretty meaning! It's not bad I think I prefer Nala or Nali. It's a nice name though. I think it would make a pretty middle name.

Nali is pretty! I also prefer Nali to Nalini, but Nalini isn't bad. It reminds me of the Hawaiian name Nalani.
