I heard two unusual names today, both on girls. Alainey was a cute little 2 year-old, and Dempsey was 8. I like the sound of Alainey, but I'm not sure whether I like it or not yet. I actually thought Dempsey was a boy when I saw it written down. I don't like on a boy or a girl.

I know of a few babies have been born recently too. They are Charlie, Samuel, Bobby, Jim and Nuala Elizabeth.

What do you think of these names?

I like Dempsey on a boy. I prefer Eleni over Alainey. Charlie is cute; Samuel is handsome. Not sure about Nuala just yet.

I don't like Alainey. It's like someone mushed Elaine and her nickname Laney. I don't like Dempsey on a girl at all. On a boy it's fine.

I like Charlie and Samuel. I don't like Bobby or Jim, especially as full names. Nuala Elizabeth is lovely.
