Braylon is all B. Edwards the football player ... and Braylan (the surname I assume it comes from) is unusual enough that the name Braylon seems to have been invented to sound fashionable. So, I favor Bryson. Besides, it sounds a lot smarter to me for some reason. Although I have reservations about using random surnames as first names because one likes the sound, it's no big deal.

I prefer Bryson. Braylon is a tacky, trendy made-up name that will not age well.

They're both trendy and blech.

Please. Just Bray or Bryce or - even better - Bruce.

Both, Bryson and Braylon seem like very flakey weak names to me. If you like they Bry- at the beginning of a name, I'd suggest Bryce, which is OK, not my thing, but heaps better than Bryson and Braylon.

If I HAD to pick, I would choose Bryson.
