What do you think of the name Evalore ?

It sounds like "ever lore". I think it looks like a name or a fantasy character such as an elf-maiden. Maybe you should use it in a fantasy story.

Pronounced 'EH-vah-lor'? I've never seen it before, but like the sound of it.

When I first saw it I thought it was EE-vah-lor but I guess you could say EH-vah-lor. I didn't make it up, I read it somewhere.

'EH-vah-lore' is more appealing to me, I'm not so hot on 'EE-vah-lore'. 'EH-vah-lore' has a mystical quality and reminds me of Poe's Lenore.

I agree with you. I thought it was EE-vah-lor and didn't even think of pronouncing it EH-vah-lor. But I do like EH-vah-lor a lot. It sounds close to Ever which I love but wouldn't use. I think Evalore would make a lovely middle name.
Yeah it is close to Lenore. I love Lenore but "Lenor" is a fabric softener where I live (Germany) so I can't use it.
