I love that name. I even had it shortlisted for my daughter (I had about a dozen possibilities). It's not granola to me. I don't think Annie fits too well for a sister, but it's not too strange.

If I had used Lark I would have considered combos (some are family names):

Lark is pretty. I don't think it's granola-ish. Lark and Annie would work as sister names, but I would expect Lark to be paired with a more unusual name, such as Annora nn Annie.

I agree with Pink Princess. After some consideration I've decided that I think Lark is pretty and a bit nostalgic. It's one of those names I want to describe as musical, and I'm not sure why I'd feel that way. In this case maybe because it's a songbird. Anyway, I like that it's a bird. And I totally second Pink Princess's suggestion of Annie Lark. Oh my gosh, that's a great combo. *Adds it to list of great name combos* I can't really describe how that combo makes me feel. It's like... Romantic. But not in the sense of love romance. The other kind. :)

To answer more of your post rather than going on and on about Annie Lark, I don't think they mesh as individuals. Also, what do you mean by granola-ish?

Lark is a very pretty name and I don't find it the least bit granola-ish I find it both playful and cute while remaining not trendy. It definitely works with Annie.

I really like Lark for a girl. It's spunky and energetic. I've toyed with the idea of Skylark or Meadowlark as a name, but they seem a little too cute. Lark on its own has more respectability to it.

Lark and Annie sound perfect together. They sound like they belong in a field somewhere, gatherine wild flowers. Delightful. (But I only like Annie as a nn for something else. Wait. "Annie Linnea" just popped into my head as a sibling for Lark.)
