Help[Opinions] Nickname... (Edit)
I'm starting to like Caspian a lot lately. The only thing is it's a bit of a mouth full. I was thinking Ian for a nickname. What do you think? I don't like Cassy / Cassie.
Edited to ask... Would Cian make more sense? I'm likely that a lot better.

Ian and Cian feel awfully contrived to me. I don't really say Caspian Casp- Ian.
IDK, I don't really feel like Caspian is that much of a mouthful, and if it is the easiest thing would be to just drop a couple of syllables and call him Cass. It feels very masculine to me. Much more than Caz or Cassie.

I love Ian. And I suppose it makes some sense as a nn for Caspian because it's in the name. But something about it feels wrong somehow. I can't put my finger on it, but it feels vaguely like cheating to use a completely different name as a nn. I've done it myself so I don't know why I'm reacting this strongly. Maybe because I get such different feelings from Caspian and Ian.
How about Caz? I agree with you about Cassy / Cassie not working as a nn for Caspian. Cassy / Cassie is all girl to me.
