Help[Opinions] nicknames for Michaela
Does anyone have any suggestions for nicknames for Michaela other than Kayla or Mickey? I would like to name my daugther Michaela Kathleen after my parents who passed away, but I already have a cousin Michaela named after my dad who goes by Kayla. I was hoping to cut down on confusion in the family by coming up with another nickname.
Also, any other suggestions on girl names that would honor both Michael and Kathleen would be appreciated.

I like Mika the best. I also think you could use Maika. I met a French girl named this once and I really like how it sounds.

You could put Michaela or Michelle in the middle name spot and use a form of Katherine for Kathleen. Kathleen, Caitlin, Katherine/Catherine/Catharine/Katharine. You could also just use Kathleen, which is a really cool name.

Why not just use her full name? Most Makayla's I know use their full name [I don't know anyone who spells it Michaela. I wish I did]

No, and unfortunately, there's the spelling Mikki, which is "like, totally" cheerleader.
