I really loathe this name. I just don't find it pretty at all.
There are so many lovely and often relatively underused Hebrew names out there - such as Aviva, Dalia, Ilana, Levana, Liraz, Livna, Meira, Merav, Ophira, Shira, Ziva - that I can't understand why Noa is so mega-popular.

Actually it's not amongst my top Hebrew names (for one thing I'm slightly bugged by the fact it's the name of every other girl in Israel, and excessive popularity always puts me off), that's why I'd be more inclined to use it as a mn.
