How odd...

Anyway, the writing:
Mordecai Raines was raised in the outskirts of Pittsburg. He attended a prestigious all-boys high school, where he was the head of the English Club, and overall lived the life of a model upper-middleclass American boy. He attended Pitt his freshman year of college, but then decided he wanted to go to a lesser-known school and transferred to a small college in central Pennsylvania. He's working toward a dual major in secondary education and English while working registers in a coffee shop near his apartment.
Cai isn't an all-around perfect son, however. He has a penchant for inviting women (and men) he meets in college over to his apartment late at night, and spends most of his Friday nights getting drunk at parties. He tries to be discrete, but it often doesn't work out too well for him.
Connor Wisdom was raised in a small town in central Pennsylvania. He took an interest in writing in high school, and chose to make English his major in college. He lives in the same apartment building as Mordecai Raines, and he quickly began to notice the other young man's habits. Never having been interested in men, he was alarmed to realize he was quickly developing a crush on Mordecai.
This crush was magnified when one night after a party, he found himself too drunk to get himself home. Cai offered to take him to his apartment, and Connor agreed for reasons he still cannot recall. One thing lead to another, and Connor found himself completely swept off his feet by the charming upperclassman. The two often meet at diners under the pretense of studying and are quite amused by their secretive rendezvous.
