[Opinions] Alexandria
I fell in love with the name Alexandria. It just sounds so pretty. WDYT ? too trendy ? now it's out of the top 100 but does it feel outdated because it used to be common in the 90s ? how many do you know ? will it rise again ? is Alexandria too long a name for a little girl ? I wouldn't really want to use a nickname for it (not a big fan of nicknames). Will it get confused with Alexandra all the time ? opinions please :)EDIT- oh and are there other nicknames you can think fo except for Ali, Alex, Ria, Xandra and Xandria and Xandy ? I especially dislike Xandra/Xandria and Xandy or anything close to it as Sandra is one of my least favorite names.

I really like it. I didn't know it was so popular. How about nn 'Andria' or 'Adria' (short 'a')?

I really love Alexandria. It's never been common here, and I didn't realize it was such in the 90s. I don't know any and I don't believe it's dated.I think Alex and Lexie are both fine options. It's quite long but you could manage it without a nickname.

Alexandria is a lovely name, and I have only ever met one in my life. It very well could get confused with Alexandra, but I imagine a nn would be used most of the time because its such a long name and a bit of a mouthful. Some nn'sLexa
Lexi
Andria
Andy
Xana
Aria
Lexandra

It reminds me way too much of the city in Egypt, and she might get confused with Alexandra, which I like better but find boring.I don't think length is an issue (though she might most likely have a nn of some kind when very young). It's not like she'd be a little girl all her life.
