Both names are very nice and I like that while they're unusual a more common nickname is available. (I would hesitate to use a very unusual name without a nn just in case the child didn't end up liking it)
I like Calanthe better, but probably just because it is easier for me to say. I also like the nn Thea as a nn for that.
