[Opinions] Béla (m)?
WDYT? I love the work that Bartok did, so it would be used in an honoring sense. Here are some combos I came up with:Bela Casimir
Bela Constantine (ohohOH!)
Bela Dimitri
Bela Emmerich
Bela Ferdinand (This is so freaking HANDSOME! I love it.)
Bela Franz
Bela Frederick
Bela Ignatz
Bela Ludvik
Bela Matthias / Matthieu
Bela Sergei
Bela Silvanus
Bela Viktor
Bela Vlastimil (unusable, but beyond cool)
Bela Wilhelm

I think it's a neat name. I like Bela Constantine and Bela Emmerich the best. Bela Ferdinand is nice too.

I LOVE Bela Casimir and Bela Silvanus. They sound so exotic and elegant. And the name Bela is so unique.

I'm torn on this name myself. Bela is refreshing on a male, though no one would pronounce it correct (as in Bela Lugosi always being called behl-uh instead of bay-law). It's cool and unique though I think with the current popularity of Isabella it would stick out as really odd.

two associations1) Bela Lugosi, the silent vampire film actor.2) One of Stalin's advisors', whose surname was Bela. So, the name has quite a sinister vibe for me, I had forgotten about Bartok I guess. This said, Bela Victor flows well.

I really like music by Béla Bartók and I find his name amazing, too. Most of your combos are wonderful - I especially like Bela Casimir,
Bela Constantine, Bela Ferdinand (agree it is very handsome :), Bela Frederick, Bela Ignatz, Bela Silvanus. I have a problem with Vlastimil - in Russian vlast' means "authority, rule", so Vlastimil makes me think of a person who sucks up to authority. Thinking about Russia's (and actually any other country's!) history and...well...the present, I'd be careful with this name, lol.
