There are too many to list! But alas, the French don't want their nice names. Instead they want nasty American names like Jaden and Madison.

Can you back that up?:\ I found a popularity chart for France for 2006, top 200. Madison and Jaden are not present. http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmeilleursprenoms.com%2FEtymologie%2FEtymologie.php3%3Fsearch%3DJaden%26imageField.x%3D0%26imageField.y%3D0&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&sl=fr&tl=enBTW: Saying "too many to list" is the world's least helpful thing when people are looking for suggestions. No one demanded them all, just list some. Or do you enjoy like not being helpful?

French girl names are my favorite after Greek girl names. I like:Cosette
Delphine
Elodie
Eugenie
Genevieve
Julie
Mignon
Sophie
SylvieI'm not a fan of the French names that became popular for my generation (Danielle, Nicole, Michelle). Well I'm beginning to appreciate Michelle again, and one of my favorites listed, Julie, was also popular for my generation. Danielle, Nicole, and Michelle, have become so commonplace that they have lost their French identity in my mind. In fact until recently Julie has seemed rather squeaky clean to me, but I have seen a similarity between Julie, and Sylvie, and some interesting combos with Julie on this board, which has made me see Julie is a fresh light.

editedI love:Amandine (a bit outdated in France, kind of like Amanda in the USA but I love it)
Delphine (yeah an 80s name but I love it)
Jeanne
Laetitia
Annabelle (prefer Annabel)
Virginie
Eliane
Madeleine
Aimée
Esmée
Océane
Cécile (a bit outdated in France but nice)
Eve (this is not spelled Éve like another user said, it is spelled Ève (but you don't put accents on capital letters, usually) it's pronounced like the letter "F" (just a bit softer) not EEEHV or AYV ---> as Éve would be pronounced.
